Glamourous hotel with views in Capri

Hotel Punta Tragara is a time capsule of classic 1920s glamour and became well known in 1974 when a photographer captured the famous "dolce vita" scene here.

Hotel Punta Tragara is located near the Marina Grande port, from which visitors can go to Capri town's main square and take a 15-minute walk along Via Tragara for gorgeous views.

The 44 rooms have distinctive decor, from contemporary chic to Italian classic, with snazzy floors, marble tubs, groovy couches, and comfy beds. Each room also has a terrace or balcony with views of the garden, sea, or Faraglioni rocks.

Le Monzù is the hotel's restaurant, managed by the executive chef, Luigi Lionetti. He serves the local produce with octopus ragu and a knockout Caprese salad. The hotel also has a Michelin-starred restaurant, Mamma, which has reimagined takes on Italian classics.
