One of the most charming boutique hotels in Malaga

This luxurious and ambitious transformation of a fascinating 18th-century palace mansion has become one of the most sought-after hotels in sunny Malaga.

Initially, this palace was built for a Genoese merchant, who exported Macharaviaya playing cards to America and sat abandoned for many years before its meticulous renovation in 2019, overseen by Antonio Obrador.

Moorish touches can be seen throughout the hotel, from the 68 rooms to the splendid internal courtyard with its porticoed patio, chequered floor, and esparto grass blinds.

Palacio Solecio, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World has a prime location on a lively, pedestrian-only street in the heart of Málaga’s Old Town. It’s close to the Picasso Museum and other main attractions. The area offers excellent food and drinks, modern, creative design, and rich historical charm.
