  11. 反射炉跡

    島津斉彬時代の集成館事業の数少ない遺構。嘉永4年(1851)、薩摩藩主 島津斉彬は、磯に築いた工場群に「集成館」と名付けた。薩英戦争で集成館は焼失し、反射炉もその後撤去。現在、安政4年(1857)に完成した2号炉の基礎部分のみが遺構として残され仙巌園入口付近に展示されています。
